Information for UM Faculty

IEEP collaborates with UM faculty each year to offer courses abroad for UM students.  The courses allow students to have the study abroad experience while being able to take UM courses with UM faculty.  These courses can be offered during Intersession, Spring Break, or Summer. IEEP encourages faculty to work with us on these programs, as this would help to further internationalize our faculty and give more students the chance to study abroad.  Interested UM professors should contact IEEP coordinator Jasmine Phillips (for Europe or Asia programs) at j.phillips4@miami.edu or Kefryn Block (for Latin America, Spain, or Africa programs) at kefryn@miami.edu.

The course proposal form for Intersession or Spring Break is due by May 1 and the course proposal form for Summer courses is due by September 1. Faculty must first get approval from their department chair and then from the appropriate dean in order to complete the form.  If you are interested in directing a faculty-led course abroad, please see the following publications.
