Storm Surge Cafe
When you visit the University Center Games Area, you will find a variety of recreational options for students, staff and guests. Some activities are free; others are available at a nominal fee. Bring your ‘Cane Card to check out games at UM Student pricing (Driver’s License accepted from guests visiting UM). Billiards Tables equipment, Table Tennis paddles and balls, and other games equipment is checked out from the main UC Information Desk. While at the Games Area, you can enjoy:

The Storm Surge Cafe in the University Center features comfortable upholstered couches and chairs, creating a casual environment. In the Games Area portion of the Cafe, students will still find billiards, ping-pong tables, and table games. There are also services such as food service, computer e-mail stations, a
big-screen TV (along with six auxilliary TV's showing a mix of programs), and much
more! Just outside the StormSurge doors are a branch office of the
University Credit Union; the Sbarro's Italian Restaurant; and the Force Five Convenience Store.
